I really enjoyed great bedroom.
The hotel was luxurious and modern with ideal location right by the ferry terminal, the main plaza for the area and the main sights.

Perfect location. Somewhat difficult to find within the palace walls. Parkinh was a signicant hassle. Rooms were great. Restaurant expensive but good

Perfect for a family getaway
The staff were excellent, especially Mia were great to help us when our luggage got lost. We were enchanted by the singing from the big dome room nearby which really added a unique vibe to the stay.
It wasn't exactly a bargain but worth every penny.

Fantastic amenities, best possible and peaceful setting.
Fairly clean hotel in a very well appointed building close enough to the main plaza for the area, which is so lively and fun at night, amazing restaurants, ferries, and beach and the centre of the Dioclesian Palace. Unforgettable stay for a short visit.

The best part of staying at the Vestibul Palace for us was the absolute quiet that existed in the middle of town. The hotel is part of Diocletian's Palace (and unesco World Heritage Site) but was just enough removed from the fray to make it convenient but not noisy. We were close enough, however, to the actual Vestibul to hear the beautiful sounds of an a capella klapa chorus singing their Croatian songs several times a day.
The only thing that I would change would be to stay a day or two more than just the two nights that we stayed.

Embraced by ancient walls
Being surrounded by the history of Diocletian's Palace was enchanting. The breakfast spread was exquisite, with local specialties that elevated my stay.
Navigating the narrow pathways to the hotel was quite a challenge, especially with luggage in tow. It could benefit from clearer signage.

We actually stayed in Villa Dobric, part of Hotel Vestibule. The room was quiet and in a good location. The staff was very friendly and most hospitable.
The room was very small, although finished out nicely with high end products. Unfortunately, the LCD TV on the wall must have been an earlier model because once you were actually on the bed, the viewing angle was such that the images were almost impossible to see due to the viewing angle and the TV was on a fixed mount, so you were unable to view it. It was also very warm during our stay and the air conditioning must not have been turned on since we were unable to cool the room off.

The service was excellent.
It wasn't clear in the booking process that we were actually staying at Villa Dobric, not the main hotel at Hotel Vestibul Palace. This should be made clearer in the online booking process. The Villa is fine, we just felt mislead.

The hotel location is fantastic being in the heart of the old town of Split. I thought the staff were superb; very friendly, very helpful and eager to please. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms, but it was spotless, comfortable and the air conditioning was great in the heat of July. Loved the restaurant. The food and Croatian wines on offer were a joy. Really enjoyed our stay.
The only downside of the hotel, which is a consequence of its location, is that there isn't an outside garden/pool side/beach. That said, there are many beautiful beaches in Split and surrounding areas - so it is a minor downside.
